During the warmer months a divine picnic experience awaits you amongst the sprawling vines of the Groot Constantia Wine estate!

Simon’s Terrace picnic offers a relaxed, tranquil experience on the rolling green lawns near Simon’s Restaurant. Boxes with delicious country fare can be pre-ordered and collected from the picnic kiosk. There is also a delightful children’s picnic available.


Operating hours: Wednesday to Sunday 12pm to 4pm.

Please pre-book Picnic Boxes 24 hours ahead, however there will be a limited amount available daily for last minute picnickers.

For your added comfort, please bring your own chairs and blankets.
